Desktop/Laptop Computer
Visit the Zoom website resources page and download and install the Zoom Client for Meetings.
At your appointed lesson time, start the Zoom application and click on the Join Meeting button.
Enter the meeting ID and password
You will shown in to the virtual waiting room and admitted to the lesson
Audio Settings
After joining the Zoom meeting, go to the Audio Settings menu which is opened by clicking the little arrow beside the microphone icon at the bottom left of the screen.
On the first page of settings please make sure to untick the box next to Automatically Adjust Volume just beneath the Microphone section of the page.
Next, click the Advanced button at the bottom-right of the page.
Tick the box at the top next to Show in-meeting option to “Enable Original Sound” from microphone.
Then change the first two dropdown menus to Disabled and leave the third as Auto
Close the audio settings window and check that it says Turn Off Original Sound at the top-left of the Zoom window. If it says Turn On Original Sound, click it to turn it on
Your audio is now configured. Enjoy your piano lesson.
Mobile Device
Visit the iOs app store or Google Play store and download and install Zoom Cloud Meetings.
Start the Zoom app.
Scroll to the Settings button at the bottom of the page.
Tap on Meeting.
Scroll down and enable Use Original Sound.
Go back and tap the Meet & Chat icon at the bottom of the screen to join a meeting.
Tap on the Join button
Enter the meeting ID and password
You will shown in to the virtual waiting room and admitted to the lesson
Once in the meeting, click the More button at the bottom of the screen
Next, click Enable Original Sound
Return to the meeting, your audio is configured. Enjoy your piano lesson.
